Albert Jabara left his village in Lebanon at age 13; three weeks later, he did casual work to support his mother and young siblings. At age fifteen, he wrote his first poetry collection; a local press published it in 1967. The astute self-educated poet branched out for freelance journalism and wrote for several major news companies like Aljazeera Net and Orient News. Google, Euro and other news carriers republished his articles through reprint permission.
He writes in English and Arabic: He has published twelve English, one translation, and one Arabic. Three additional Arabic books will be released in 2024—over a hundred articles published by print and digital news companies.
