I've been writing ever since I was a child, but started to seriously pursue honing my writing skills in high school, when I took AP English classes and journalism. Afterwards, at the encouragement of my teachers, I took creative writing classes in community college and then majored in English at Washington State University. There, I was introduced to various genres of literature that enabled me to explore the tools and techniques of authors from various cultures and time periods. It was then that I truly realized the power and magic of writing. Ever since that realization, I've been honing my work and fine-tuning my skills. As a primary school teacher, I also have the opportunity to share my passion and respect for creative writing with future generations.
