Alicia Ang is a Singaporean author, marketeer, and interpreter. With a Beijing Government Municipal Scholarship, she studied International Politics at Peking University with a minor in Art. Unexpectedly, she soon found compelling stories to share with others and learned that stories come to her when she travels. She then became a student writer with the largest Singaporean Chinese-language newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao. In 2013, she won Second Place in the 2nd China Original Short Musical Script Competition. Her debut collection of short stories and poems, Echoes from an Island, was published in 2023. She is currently working on a poetry collection, Letters from the Heart.
