Since the age of 12, I have been a drug user. I lived for the buzz. It was the only thing in life that made me happy. Then, at the age of 49, I'd had enough. I rented a motel room and cut my own throat. But through a miraculous series of events, I was rescued from that room. With a new lease on life, I got sober and spent the next year writing my life story, American Drug Addict. The response has been beyond anything I could have dreamed. So I've devoted my life to recovery and writing.
