This Akron native, Chaunte Mills is the mother of a 5 year old youth matters expert, who facilitates her in remaining grounded to youth matters. As a Sunday school teacher and mentor in the community, she has the regular ability to bridge the gap between millennials and opportunity youth in making a meaningful impact on future generations.
Author of Wicked Urban Memoir, daughter of the most High God, serving in capacities of missions, community outreach and the current reconstructing of unity and family in the Columbus area of Social Justice are just to name a few of her passions in which she attributes all to the glory of God through the provoking of the Holy Spirit working in her life.
Growing up in the inner city, oldest of five to a single mom who also provided a home for over 30 other children throughout the years who have been subject to the perils of foster care, Chaunte is used to having a busy and chaotic environment. This also is why she gravitates toward others so easily and just loves on them as she has seen her mother do for others over the years. Cultivating community and fellowship is near to her heart.
After enduring rape both at age four and nineteen, molestation, domestic violence (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and financial, feelings of rejection and abandonment, suicidal thoughts, regrets of having an abortion, and suffering the lifelong consequences of overt disobedience to God, I have decided to end the cycle of sin and completely dedicate my life to the cause of Christ and guiding others into the path of righteousness and not succumbing to fleshly desires nor the soulishness of being guided by the mind, will and emotions.
"Allow the essence of your spirit to be contagious to others in such a way that gentleness, peace and laughter comforts the broken."
