Teacher, journalist and author, Concetto La Malfa, has lived in Ireland for the past fifty years.
As a journalist he has been the editor for thirty one years of Italia Stampa, a printed magazine for the Italian community, as well as a correspondent for and contributor to Italian and Irish newspapers and radio stations.
He is now the editor of italvideonewstv.net, an Italian online magazine in Ireland.
As an author, Concetto La Malfa has eight books to his credit:

· “Una macchia nel Sole” (fiction in bilingual format)

(co-author with Vincent Caprani - in English)
· “Amnesia” (fiction in English)
With these works he has won four literary prizes and
special distinctions in Italy and one in Ireland:
1989 Second prize AMICIZIA for Poetry (Sicily);
1989 Special Award for all literary sections “Giovanni
Gronchi Literary Competition” (Italy);
1991 Third Prize “CARDO DI VIAREGGIO” for Short
Stories (Italy)
2000 Special attestation at “IL LINGOTTINO” Book Fair
(Sicily)
2001 Second prize for poetry at the Dunlaoghaire
Rathdown Literary competition (Ireland).
