While C. Parks is chairman of the Arkansas Federation of Young Republicans and a member of the Republican State Committee Of Arkansas, he is also acting treasurer and vice president for the Committee for Salvation. His book will not be popular with some Republicans because it is not a partisan diatribe. The author has a degree in philosophy.

With the proceeds and donations from this book the author hopes to recoup all his losses.
