Daniel W. Shegrud (1960-God only knows when) was born in Seattle, raised in Renton, and now lives in Cheney near Spokane, all of which are in Washington State. A former barber and donut maker, he spent more than two decades driving truck. Working 15 hours a day eventually got old, so he switched to being a Hospice Nurse's Aid, where he merely works 12 hour shifts.
Daniel has won every award known to man for his writing, at least in his dreams. In reality he has only written two novels (both of which are amazing, by the way) and is hoping to crank out a few more before retiring on a deserted island somewhere in a warm but not too hot clime.
