Dave Rogers was born in New York City, in the summer of 1969. While his family was traditionally Roman Catholic, his parents did not live the clean-living people expected them too. Never really the planned child, he struggled to fit in his middle child placement with the family. After his parents' divorce, he wrestled even more to be accepted by his family and friends as he felt lost to a world around him. After his mother remarried, Rogers dealt with abuse and abandonment issues, forcing him to leave home at 15 to live on the streets of New York. With his friend Marta and his art, he found ways to survive and even thrive in life. Putting himself through school, joining the military and traveling the world. After a carrier ending injury at the World Trade Center, Rogers would go on to help veterans struggling with life changing issues, obtain his Master's Degree in Art and Business, start an online cooking program to help those struggling with food insecurity and become a Master Painter. But, even with all he would accomplish he continued most of his life trying to gain his families approval.
