Erin Carere is an award-winning author and multi-disciplinary Renaissance woman. Born and raised in small-town Minnesota, she attended the UMN-TC (B.A. in English Literature, Magna Cum Laude.) She toured as a singer-songwriter before being signed to a music label and moving to Los Angeles. There, she quickly earned her SAG-AFTRA and AEA cards alongside ASCAP membership. In 2016, Erin began screenwriting with her husband Carlo. Together, they’ve written multiple award-winning, optioned, and/or produced TV pilots and features. As an author, Erin’s novel, “Ghosting Shakespeare,” has been short-listed or named as a finalist in the Catalyst Content Festival and for the Leap Frog Fiction Prize. It will be published in Autumn 2024 by Finch Benson Books. Her novella “Bad Sugar Baby” was published by Finch Benson Books in 2025. Upending a traditional beach read with themes of socio-economic inequality, single motherhood, and friendship between women, it received rave early reviews. Erin lives in Los Angeles, CA, with her husband Carlo.
