Gabriel Archangel Irizarry III was born in Queens, NY and raised by his Grandparents in the Washington Heights area of Manhattan. He attended Fordham Prep High School in the Bronx and received a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Columbia University in New York City. In addition to his 15 years working on Wall Street, Gabe has always been intertwined in both the Creative and Business side of Performing Arts. Under his alias, ThePoetG, Gabe has written, performed, and hosted spoken word poetry events in NYC, Florida, Puerto Rico and South America. He has managed and executive produced for several music artists including Homeboy Sandman and Ray Jones. He signed an artist to a major record deal with Jive Records where he served as an A&R between 2008-2010. He has since continued to write and record spoken word, wrote a full featured script that remains unsigned, and recently self-published a book called I Soy Latino all the while working full time in Wall Street. Today, Gabe is currently a Vice President of Asset Management for one of the 25 largest banks in the world, writing his next book and managing up and coming Music Artist, dezmond.
