Hello, I'm a first time author expanding into writing after a decade-long career in writing software for animation and visual effects. I've worked on films at multiple studios in a few countries, notably DreamWorks, Weta Digital, and Warner Brothers. I fell in LOVE with the Lord of the Rings movies as a kid, which made my time at Weta Digital in New Zealand extra special, and ended up in animation as a way to share unique stories that can't exist in the real world. I still love my job, but I've found an extra level of joy in writing my own stories and sharing those with folks. I plan to keep writing as a way to share my stories and as a way to explore more about myself. I love writing fantasy and sci-fi, but the short story medium allows me to tinker with different tones and genres. I hope you enjoy reading my book!
