Gary J. Kirchner holds a Master’s degree in sports biomechanics. He played and coached football at McGill for three decades, winning Canadian college football’s Gino Fracas award as Assistant Coach of the Year in 1995. He also taught physics at the college and high school levels, and received La Mention d’honneur de l’Association québecoise de pédagogie collégiale for teaching excellence (2014). He is one of eight Canadian authors featured in the short story anthology Will There Be a Sunset? (2024). His first published novel (2021) was the dystopian fiction Cromby’s Axiom.
