Grace Stevens is an inspirational and motivational speaker specializing in personal transformation as well as intra- and interpersonal relationships to improve all aspects of individual and group performance.
With her experience in corporate technical management, individual and group counseling, and as an author and speaker, Grace has made a difference in people’s lives worldwide.
Grace started her career as an engineer designing computers for missile guidance systems. At the age of fifty-eight, while still working in the tech world, she returned to school and earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in 2009. She was dual careered as she continued working evenings in a substance abuse clinic until 2015.
Grace is a transgender woman who transitioned gender at the age of sixty-four successfully in two vastly different workplaces, the technical and counseling worlds. Grace strongly believes, “We are all so much more than just gender.”
Grace is an active leader and board member of The Tiffany Club of New England, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, which is one of the country’s largest transgender support groups. She has been one of the co-leaders of their annual conference, First Event, since 2011. She has presented workshops and advised many people on their change journeys. Grace received a 2012 Community Involvement award from EMC Corporation for her work with The Tiffany Club of New England.
Grace is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post with her blogs on “My Transgender Life,” where she continues to share her experiences and inspire people from all walks of life. She has also been interviewed on radio, TV, and newspapers.
Grace has written two books; No! Maybe? Yes! Living My Truth, and Musings on Living Authentically. She is presently writing a book to introduce the concepts of parts to children in The Alphabet of Self.
