Greg Spry was cloned in the year between the releases of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Coincidence? He majored in industrial engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before earning a graduate degree in space systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.
