A story began when various friends suggested that Heather write about her father’s clandestine playboy lifestyle. Well, Heather did not know much about her absentee father’s lifestyle, but she knew her own.

She has previously contributed articles for a local garden trade magazine, served as newsletter editor for a plant society, led garden tours and has given presentations on gardening.

Heather is working on an expanded personal life storybook, including many of the adventures that she has lived through. Her loves have been centered on trees, real estate, sports, and travel.

Her 50-word flash fiction stories will be included in "50 Give or Take" to be released in November 2023 and in November 2024

She lives with her husband and whatever wildlife happens to move in.
