As a music fan, Heather focuses her writing on the undisclosed lives of musicians, as of late, particularly musicians from Laurel Canyon. A graduate from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia with a degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing, she actually began telling stories in the 1st grade with the encouragement of her exceptional teacher. Heather is the author of ‘Letting Go’ and ‘Expecting to Fly,’ and the award-winning short story ‘Amsterdam’ published through Southwest Writers. She currently has several works in progress vying for her next novel. A native of Long Island, NY, she has been transplanted to Dallas, TX (y’all) via Philadelphia and the Netherlands, where she works as a Marketing Coordinator by day to pay the bills.
