I have served as a director at Center for Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling in Suffolk County, New York since 2000. I provide direct care to clients while supervising other psychotherapists. I also do business coaching. I have expertise working with abused children and their families as well as with individuals and couples with mental health issues, affairs, addictions, traumas, etc. As a novice grant writer, I created an integrated community approach to working with individuals and families affected by subsance abuse- a grant yielded a quarter of a million dollars from New York State. Later, I created and led a nonprofit organization that partnered young adults with mentors. I graduated from Yonsei University in South Korea before moving to the United States in 1986 to start graduate school. After earning my master's in social work at Adelphi University, I trained at Gestalt Center of Long Island. I also attended Pace School for Alcohol and Drug Counseling and studied acupuncture at Lincoln Hospital.
