Jadi Campbell is an American author who has lived in Europe since 1992. She’s past President of the Writers in Stuttgart, a job she described as ‘herding cats’. Stuttgart’s New English American Theater (NEAT) commissioned her in 2016 for a story to connect Gershwin songs and for Hard Times in Sugar Town in 2021, a story of the Depression. Her current commission The Legend of Ole Bob Stuff premieres December 2022. Her plays “Bank on It” and “Baby You Were Great” were performed in NEAT’s 2019 One Page Play Festival. Jadi's book Tsunami Cowboys was longlisted for the 2019 ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition. Broken In: A Novel in Stories was a semifinalist for Hidden River Arts 2020 international Hawk Award and Finalist for Greece’s 2021 Eyelands Book Awards. The Trail Back Out was American Book Fest 2020 Best Book Award Finalist for Fiction Anthologies, 2021 IAN Best Book of the Year Award Finalist (Short Story Collection), 2021 Top Shelf Award Runner-Up and won a Red Ribbon from the Wishing Shelf Book Awards.
