Jaye Alison Moscariello is a professional artist, with a Masters of Fine Art from Transart Institute/Plymouth University. Her work is included in private collections across the U.S. and abroard and in the National Archives.
For a time, while living in Los Angeles she proudly was an artist in residence at Theater of Hearts/Youth First. Her series of paintings "Chase the Monkey" began in 2008 and inspired her to write the book Capture the Moon. Informed by the paintings that some major life changes were afoot, she took the advice given and moved from city living in Los Angeles/Santa Monica up to rural Northern California.
When she and her husband aren't working on their two acre farm, growing fruit and vegetables for their local farmers markets, they dance, compose music, paint and write. They also tend to two herding dogs, three rescue cats, and enjoy the company of their land partners: coyotes, bears, foxes, mountain lions, bats, birds and rattlesnakes.
It is her heart's desire that Capture the Moon, a simple tale about learning to listen within and connecting with nature, will reach the hands of all that will find joy in reading it.
Capture the Moon is Jaye Alison Moscariello's first book and the first in a series, each with a simple universal theme.
