John is the former Executive Editor of Better Homes and Gardens magazine and Editorial Director of Special Interest Media at Meredith Corp. His non-fiction has been published at Esquire, GQ, House Beautiful, Men’s Journal, HGTV, Reader’s Digest and others. His short fiction has been published in Summerset Review, Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Toasted Cheese and others. His novel “The Bounty Huntress” won a Book Reader’s Appreciation Group award for excellence. He lives with his wife, Deb, in Ashland, Oregon.
