Jon State (1964-2022) was born in Puerto Rico and migrated to Manhattan, New York in 1965. He managed to move back to Puerto Rico because of the gang wars. He left behind the slums of the lower east side and never looked back. The Island of Puerto Rico left him in awe. Jon began drawing at a tender age, due to his seclusion when he lived in the 'The City That Never Sleeps.' His imagination was the only escape from the brutal city.

He began writing in 1979 after falling in love with the novel 'The Wolfen by Whitley Strieber.' He attended the University of Puerto Rico and majored in entomology. He also attended a kung-fu school for many years. He joined the US ARMY after his marriage and wrote 'Heavenly Dome' while deployed in Germany. He abandoned his writing (1990) when a fanatic religious group told him that what he wrote was Satanic. He divorced everything in 2006 and began writing again.

Jon started the Eternal Bones series in 2012. Currently, he writes Science fiction, Fantasy, among other genres in sunny Florida. He lives in peace with his wife and loving pets, where he envisions the possibilities.

He has learned: martial arts, welding, aircraft bonding, pest control, psychology, carpentry, Christianity, Buddhism, mechanics, environmental behavior, medical tech, IT, management, sales, editing, aircraft sheet metal, agriculture, physics, and much more to help him understand his characters. He listens carefully.
