Judith “Judy” Kimball is the 5th great-granddaughter of Thomas Charles Holmes. She was raised in Texas, specifically Jasper, Orange, and Jefferson Counties. As an avid researcher with a love of history, Judy especially enjoys discovering family roots and has spent many decades helping family and friends connect with their ancestorial past. For her on-going efforts, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution presented Judy the prestigious Volunteer Genealogist of the Year award in 2013. She currently resides in San Francisco with her husband and two Siamese cats.
