Kiran’s life story is as mesmerizing as his charming smile.
Born in Bengaluru, in 1967, he imbibed some of the vibrant energy of the city. However, a chance encounter on a ship would forever change the trajectory of his life.
In a fairy-tale romance, Kiran, a smart young officer, falls in love with apprentice Marianne from Denmark. Sparks fly and they become soul mates, eventually getting married in 1996. Today, they and their two wonderful children call beautiful Copenhagen their home.
With his enormous talent, magnetic personality and the magic of his delightful smile, Kiran soared high during a career spanning multiple decades, continents, business domains and cultures. He grew from a home appliance salesman to what he today sheepishly refers to as “an ambitious ‘stay-at-work’ father” in famed Fortune companies and start-ups.
In 2021, unforeseen burnout changed Kiran’s life.
Emerging as a new persona he has now set out in a different direction; embracing a path less travelled. A leader and entrepreneur who has embraced ADHD, for better or worse, he has an audacious goal: Create a billion smiles every day!
Driven by his indomitable spirit and fueled by the power of his own transformation, Kiran’s mission now is to inspire and motivate individuals from all walks of life. Knowing what a profound impact a single smile can have, he aims to use his unique storytelling and infectious positivity to ignite many, many more smiles. Target: A billion, every day!
To achieve this noble goal, Kiran is harnessing his unique talents, the power of his brain, sense of humor, to weave ‘jugaad’, an Indian philosophy of frugal and innovative problem-solving, with ‘hygge’ , a Danish concept of simplicity and cultivating meaningful relationships. The first fruits of this adventure is Oh that he proudly shares with the world.
With ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ as his guiding star, Kiran’s course for his next adventures is set. He is crafting a treasure map inspired by his escapades in his daily life in a place he calls ‘DontDoNation’ and Oh Landia. The treasure map is designed for storytelling and will be shared through blogs, podcasts, and comics, promising a journey filled with wonder, laughter, and inspiration.
