Prior to teaching Yoga full time and becoming a Yoga Tutor with Yoga Scotland, Lindsey spent over 20 years working in the Financial Services Industry in Project Management working for various Retail Banks in the UK and internationally.
Lindsey published her debut book ‘Whirlpools, yoga and the balance of life’ after spending 10 years writing it as a history of her travel and soul-searching journeys to pass onto her children. As public interest in her yoga work continues to grow she was encouraged to publish this book for wider interest.
Lindsey is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga for all minds and bodies. In 2018 she led a Scottish Parliamentary Reception talking to MSPs and the Minister for Mental Health about the benefits yoga can bring to mental health and wellbeing. She is a signatory of the Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity & Sport and champions the yoga community to participate to help break down barriers for people with mental health challenges to participate in activity such as yoga.
She has been awarded a “WOMAN OF INSPIRATION AWARD” in the 2019 honour list by the Association of Scottish business women. She has had articles published in the Huffington Post, Psychologies magazine and several international Yoga magazines.
