Margaret Scofield is the author of I Love You Still: A Memorial Baby Book. Margaret graduated from the University of Arizona in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Family Studies and Human Development.
After a good friend revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage, Margaret put her marketing career on hold and drew on her collegiate experience to begin writing her first book: a memorial baby book tailored to the events and emotions surrounding pregnancy and newborn loss.
Margaret is a vocal supporter of the movement to end the stigma surrounding miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss. She attends national and international conferences each year on the topics of postpartum mental health and care, pregnancy loss, perinatal bereavement, and newborn health. Margaret’s book has garnered attention and support from the nation’s leading hospitals, national nonprofits, bereavement specialists and social workers.
