Margie Smith Holt is an Emmy-winning journalist whose print work has appeared in the St. John Sun Times, the Tradewinds, Sail, Sailing, Classic Boat, All at Sea, Caribbean Compass, Cruising World, and elsewhere. Since leaving television and radio she has worked in PR and marketing in New York and Philadelphia; as a waitress on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands; and on boats, logging over 11,000 miles at sea. She lives in New York.
