Mari SanGiovanni is the Golden Crown Literary Award winning author of Greetings from Jamaica Wish You Were Queer, Camptown Ladies, and 80% Done with Straight Girls, all published by Bywater Books. An alumnus of Rhode Island School of Design, Mari is also an artist, screenplay writer, and filmmaker and CEO of her film production company, Love Is Love Productions. Her award-winning LGBTQ short film, The Sibling Rule, won Best LGBTQ film at the Sydney World Fest, Best LGBTQ film and Best Women Short from the LA Independent Shorts Awards, and was the winner of Best LGBTQ short film at the Liverpool Indie Awards. Mari's second film, RETREAT, will be out in 2025.
