She has conducted over one hundred oral histories that offer insight into local history and serves as Board Secretary of the Institute for Historical Study. Her writings have appeared in the West Marin Review, the Oral History Review, and the Marin Independent Journal, among other publications. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she writes from her home in San Geronimo Valley, Marin County, California.
