Mark Houser is a Pittsburgh writer and speaker and the author of the new book “MultiStories: 55 Antique Skyscrapers & the Business Tycoons Who Built Them.” He has traveled across the country and beyond in search of the world’s most interesting and attractive landmark high-rises and researched the colorful personal tales of the magnates and power brokers who brought them into being. Houser has appeared on NPR, CNN, and FOX and given a TEDx Talk. His story about trying unsuccessfully to stop the future president of France from scorching his mouth on a habanero salsa nacho chip has been published in the New Yorker.
