Born in central Tennessee, Ron grew up in Michigan and likes to think of himself as nothing special...just a regular guy who enjoys listening to classic rock and happens to write fiction. 

He once worked for some of the world's largest advertising agencies and enjoyed a marketing career with General Motors. He has published several award-winning works of fiction, and a well-received poetry chapbook. 

A member of the National Writers Association, Detroit Working Writers, Michigan Writers and the American Academy of Poets, he admits hating the winters in Michigan, but he still lives and writes there, surrounded by a host of good friends, his lovely wife, and a finally-paid mortgage.
