Sam Bleicher is an Adjunct Law Professor at Georgetown University Law School in Washington DC. His novels draw on his experience as a law firm partner and lobbyist and as a senior official in the US Department of State, the US Commerce Department’s National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, and the Ohio EPA. He also served as a Member and Vice-Chair of the Virginia Air Pollution Control Board. He has taught as a law professor in Ohio, D.C., Virginia, Moscow, and Beijing.
Guardians of the Solar Shield is his third novel. His two earlier books, THE PLOT TO COOL THE PLANET, A Novel (Newman Springs, 2d Printing 2019), and APPOINTMENTS: A Novel of Politics in Our Nation’s Capital (2013, under the name David Carmell) are available on Amazon and Bookshop.org, and at local bookstores.
Sam was born in Omaha, Nebraska, where he attended Omaha Central High School. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Northwestern University, Phi Beta Kappa and Honors in Economics.
