Stephanie Patterson began her writing career at age three when she designed her first alphabet using symbols to represent words. Thankfully school got her back on track with mainstream communication and she has been creating stories ever since. Her first romance, "Playing For Keeps," was published by Genesis Press under the pen name, Stephanie Salinas. "The Woman in Question," a contemporary romance thriller published under her own name followed a couple of years later. Current projects include a new historical romance series entitled, "Season of the Furies." The first book in the series, "A Terrible Beauty," will be released March 4, 2016.
A resident of northern Oregon, Stephanie works as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney and writes freelance articles for her local newspaper. She has worked all sorts of criminal cases from petty theft to capital murder and has had the opportunity to confer with prominent investigators and criminal experts across America.
Stephanie also practices and teaches cartomancy - a fancy way of saying tarot reading. She owns and operates Lady Oracle Tarot, a full-service tarot entertainment company and writes a blog about tarot and astrology under the same name. As if this isn't unusual enough, she has also been a belly dance hobbyist for eight years, performing at various festivals around the Pacific Northwest.
