Hi, my name is Tom, my friends call me Cobey. Cobey is my last name. My passion is reading and writing, two things I do daily. Being an old guy, I have a lifetime of practicing these skills. And yes, I believe reading is a skill that needs to be practiced. I’ve taken narrative inspiration from Truman Capote and Stephen King. Thus, my writing style is analogous to what I like to read. My constant writing companion is, Strunk and White The Elements of Style. Word usage and flow is always a concern in my writing. Although writing is my passion, entertaining the reader is my only goal. I live in Sarasota, Florida. Moved here from New York. Although writing is a big part of my life, I also ride a Road King because I love it, and layout living spaces on the computer because I’m good at it.
