Zoe J. Stark grew up in the West Country and found herself unable to leave, despite many valiant attempts. Burning Down the House is a YA Mystery Thriller and her debut novel funded by the Arts Council. 

Zoe is now always on the hunt for people who say ‘cheers drive’ and ‘babber’, and hates anyone who asks for her constants (sorry Carol). But she promises she would never burn down anybody’s house for doing so. You can find in middle earth, talking to trees, wondering where her hobbit family went and whether they’ll ever leave the shire.
