This book is about a peacock that lived on a plantation in Half-Way Tree on the island of St. Kitts. The peacock is extremely vain and insults all of the animals on the plantation. It is the Monkey who gives the peacock his come-uppance! This book is geared for children 5-9 years of age and contains illustrations of the peacock and the rest of the animals that live on the plantation.
