I ordered this book through Amazon and received it quickly as usual. I bought it with my great nieces in mind thinking they would enjoy the colorful illustrations and catchy rhymes. While I still think that will be true, I found the book is more than that. The story is a reassuring message to toddlers that God and his guardian angels will always be looking out and protecting them. Not only that but that these angels love to be silly and have fun just like they do! It'll make a wonderful bedtime story sending little ones off to dreamland with pleasant, reassuring thoughts of angels of their pillows keeping watch over them!

I purchased this book from Amazon.com because they are reputable. I discovered this book of author Sannel Larson fulfilled the promise of the title that Angels can be silly and playful too. Lessons can be learned from the more mature adults reading offering life to the silly, and playful skillfully hand drawn illustrations. Little children playing receive confidence as Angels watching over them and play too! Gently God and his love are introduced to children of all ages. An added bonus is the warmth of a Heavenly Father watching over through his messengers - silly and playful Angels offering a sense of security to children in their weaknesses and their strengths. A recommended read.

I would recommend this book to all school libraries and it will also make a good bedtime story to read out to little kids while putting them to bed. The illustrations breathe life and movement into the story.

Angels Can be Silly and Playful Too! by Sannel Larson is a delightful book for small children. It tells children about the presence of Guardian Angels in their lives and how these Angels keep a watch over them and protect them all the time. The rhymes and the illustrations are colorful and delightful and they add to the charm of the story. This story gives a sense of security to kids by telling them how safely protected they are by their Guardian Angels. The story is filled with joy and mirth and the Heavenly Father watching over the Angels is indeed a comfort.

The story will give reassurance to little kids that there is someone invisible who is protecting them. The author also tells kids that Angels are everywhere - on the book, on the pillow case, behind the tree and they can see them if they look closely. It is indeed an inspirational and charming story. The depiction of the Angels as silly and fun loving is great.
