Excellent work from Eric and Richard.
It was a great book for modern industry study guide. I really am not a fan of reading something that is required for a class but this book I would recommend. It was a quick read and it kept me interested. Most books that I read specifically for a class are very informative but are not captivating enough to hold my attention for long but this one did just that. I was intrigued from beginning to end.

- Reflecting on the Past for Insight into the Future
Auto Empire is a well-organized book, chronicling such shifts in the automobile industry landscape. I find this book to be a breath of fresh air because while a large number of people are familiar with various cars offered by different automakers and concept cars they unveil at an annual motor show in some city, not many are aware of the journey companies undertook to develop such cars and reach their current position, or impacts the World Wars and other major historic events had on the industry. Auto Empire dives into such aspects. I find this book to be incomparable to any in theworld. I have strong confidence in the contents of this book because of its two authors -one, who is an auto industry analyst, and the other, who is an auto industry journalist. Automakers are fighting an uphill battle - competition is escalating, technology standards are getting higher and there is an endless demand for creativity and innovation. Furthermore, the instable global economy makes it difficult to remain optimistic about the future. It is during times like this when we need the wisdom to reflect on the past to prepare for the future. In this regard, Auto Empire will be an insightful guide for CEOs, executives and employees of automobile companies. It also makes a valuable economic and business management study for students aspiring to find jobs in the auto industry. Upon reading this book, I could sense the extensive research done by the authors and their attempts to approach information from various viewpoints. I am confident that once you read this book, the cars cruising on the streets will never look the same.
