The moment I started reading "Forever Love" was the moment I entered this world of peaceful beauty in the mountains of North Carolina. I love isolated cabins and so, was drawn into this story from the very beginning. When Katherine seated herself in the cabin, after checking out where she would be staying for the next 2 weeks, I too sat in that chair and watched the day give way to night.
I am also a writer, but I rarely read novels. This book was suggested by a close friend and now I know why. The setting is the setting of my dreams, the mountains. The subject of love is dear to my heart. I have been happily married over 35 years to my wife. She is and has become my best friend. And I still get butterflies in my stomach when she walks into the room.
The characters came to life as I was drawn into each page. Bernetta has a wonderful way of helping you live in each scene, as if you are really there. As I know from my own experiences, true love is rarely found where we look for it and is often found in unexpected places. Through ups and downs Katherine and Teddy weather storms, yet the butterflies continued to flutter in her heart. Butterflies of a forever love.
I really enjoyed this book and know you will too. Katherine is an accomplished author and skilled story teller. But the story became more than just a story, prepare to be drawn in. Prepare to sit in that chair in the North Carolina cabin, and prepare to watch day give way to an enchanting night. I wholeheartedly recommend you read "Forever Love".
It was a great story. I needed something to read during late night baby feedings and a friend recommended this. I will definitely look for her next book.
Forever Love is a book that’s hard to put down. The imagery and detail draws me right into the mountain setting.
I feel like know the characters and I am living their story with them.
I can’t wait for the continuation of Gail and Thomas’ story. The sequel cannot come soon enough.
More than your typical "feel good" romance novel, this book is neither silly nor sappy. Well written with interesting, relatable characters. After finishing reading a friend's copy, I purchased 3 books as gifts. This would make a good screenplay or made-for-TV movie!
I enjoyed this book, the love story in it, and the way Katherine tried to find her way. I also enjoy the little history side notes in this book.
If you are a romantic, you will enjoy the love story of Katharine and Teddy. The book is an easy read, and perfect to take with you on a beach vacation. I look forward to the next book in the series, as this love story is not over!
This is a beautifully written story of finding love when you least expect it. It is mostly a feel-good novel but also has a few surprises too. The author has also weaved timeless truths into the book and it is good to be reminded of how we are to love one another. I loved the setting of the story and the vivid imagery really helped me feel like I was taking a little vacation in the NC mountains.
Love was definitely in the air with this book! I'm not a fan of romance novels, but took a chance with this one and have no regrets. The characters were what most of us yearn to have; a true love, loving and supportive family and best friends. I read this book in a few days, eager to know Teddy's next move. Though I was skeptical of their quick romance and commitment to each other, half-way through this book, I became a believer in Kat and Teddy. I think you will too!

Bernetta Throne-Williams has a God given talent to craft an inviting story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Forever Love. Ms.Thorne-Williams understands the human heart and how easily one can fall in love. I saw my self and my friends gathering together to share laughs over a game of Phase 10. That is the gift of writing this author brings to the table, the sense of shariñg special moments with your trusted friends. Kat and Teddy captured my heart as I went on a mountainous, romantic journey with them as they found love.

i really enjoyed this book. This book kept me engaged from the beginning of Theodore (Teddy) and Katherine
(Kat) story .With Teddy and Kat you can feel the chemistry between. It has great story lines and i like that other characters (Watkins family, Gail, Thomas, James, and Gail). from it made it an awesome read. love comes when you least expect it. i look forward to next story of Gail and Thomas.

I'm not really into romance, but for some reason, I decided to try, it just looked too "innocent". I have no regrets, this was the story about true love, it's probably utopia, but still, we need to dream about a perfect world because that should be our goal. If we don't have those dreams then we are lost.
I really enjoyed this book. Most stories create unnecessary drama to push a storyline. But this book seemed to be about real people with real thoughts and feelings and real hesitation of jumping into a relationship. There are not many who believe in love at first sight, but reading this book makes you think that it is possible. And while many people may not label this first feeling as love, I think you know from the first moment whether a particular person could be the one. I still remember the very first time I met my love and while I didn't classify it as love at that moment, in retrospect, it was.
This author takes you through a realistic journey about the possibility of a true and lasting love right from the beginning even though family and friends have their doubts. A very satisfying conclusion. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
Good read. Katharine and Teddy, the two main characters were convincing as skeptics who finally gave in to the idea of love at first sight.
I liked that Thorne-Williams weaved in the children's book that Katharine was writing. It added another dimension to the book.
Also of particular interest to me (being a native of North Carolina); the story took place in the beautiful Applachian Mountains of North Carolina.
I definitely recommend this love story.

Forever Love is a great read. It makes the cynic in me believe falling in love only takes a second. It’s the staying in love which requires work. As the parental characters in the book are strong role models, Katharine and Teddy have no excuse for not having an enduring relationship.
"Forever Love" could not have come at a better time for me than while longing for an escape during the culprit of this COVID19 Pandemic. Bernetta Thorne Williams gave me that escape into the Appalachian Mountains. I fell in love with the scenery, the rolling mountains, the sprawling valleys, the walking trails, the narrow bridges, the smell of fresh air, and the nuggets of history I experienced in West Jasper, Appalachian Mountains. It’s been a welcoming get away. A soothing get away in fact, and a gentle page turner. I met nice people in this small town. I was there! And, I could easily move to the mountains, be their neighbors, and eat mouth watering meals that I fantasized from the book. I witnessed the falling in love of Katherine & Teddy, and knew it had to be love at first sight while they were still trying to figure it out. Although the Author did take us away into this love story, she also touched on good friendship & family values, the reality of mental illness and personal choices, as well as bullying and resolutions woven perfectly into the story. By the end, I wasn’t ready to leave the mountains. I was left wanting more, as well as a girlfriend like Gail, and some delicious, melt in your mouth pumpkin pancakes.
I usually read science fiction/ science fantasy/ murder mystery, so this was a change for me. I found myself drawn in by the well developed characters. I truly enjoyed the journey as they faced and overcame numerous obstacles. Looking forward to the next book
