Reviews
Amazon Reviewer Tim Wellman

With the population getting older, and many children born to parents a little later in life, this book really fills the need to help children understand their grandparents and put life into perspective. All children want to grow up to be responsible, all like to be helpful, and this book allows parents to explore those things with their children. It doesn't preach, but does help teach the gentle lesson of respect for elders, not because it's a law, but because it's simply the kind thing to do.

The artwork fits the story very well, as the reader jumps back and forth from present to past, reflecting and illuminating the past and how everything in life creates who we are as human beings.

It would be a good book for grandparents to read to their grandchildren, and also to read for themselves, as a reminder that we're all connected through time and memory.

A sweet story.
