I am a recipient for 41+ years of a kidney transplant from an unrelated deceased donor.
I believe that the subject of kidney disease and organ transplantation is topical these days! I've finally completed a book about loosing my kidneys, the challenges and obstacles I faced along the way and of my success over health, and having another chance at life.
The book is designed as a support resource, and to inspire the general reader and it's intended target audience - those with kidney disease or failure, on dialysis, awaiting a transplant or perhaps, recently having received a transplant from a living or nonliving donor.
There is so much to tell, it would have taken up too much space to write in a forum. I was encouraged by family, friends and others to convert into a book.
