A solid introduction into the dark, and stark, sci-fi imagination of Ms. Lane. This story is only a taste of the world she has invented, which plunges you into a terrifying reality (or un-reality?) where some people are better than others, and find ways to force their subjugation (with science!). With Matrix style themes, and a young woman we want to know more about, you'll be wishing for at least a bit more story. I would like to see this released in other short segments, or even novella form would be nice. The story premise and the ability to drag you along with curiosity deserves recognition here. The editing, however, could use another comb-through. I would definitely read this in an expanded form, mostly so I can see what is next for Oceana - if anything.
