5 Stars A delightful surprising read...

This was a wonderful read. I went in expecting to read a historic fiction novel and got so much more. The strong female leads were awesome to read and the transgender/gay characters were just what this novel needed to be different and original. I was riveted to the pages and didn't put it down until I was finished.

I received a copy of this book via The Niche Reader and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
