Fearing his reelection is in jeopardy because of a pregnant lover, State Senator Robert Barton hires the Shark, a violent man whose business is assassination. With the Shark tracking their every move, sister detectives Kate March and Allison Chandler undertake an investigation (to find the missing girl) which will turn them from the hunters to the hunted.
