Lynette Norris Wilkinson, author of 'Untold: The New Orleans 9th Ward You Never Knew', an inspiring book about Hurricane Katrina survivors, is pleased to announce her participation in the 'Remembering Katrina' event held recently in Dallas, TX. The event was held at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas. Audience members joined in the traditional New Orleans Second Line dance at the event, an evening of film, literature and dance commemorating the eighth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Lynette Norris Wilkinson, author of the award-winning book, "UNTOLD: The New Orleans 9th Ward You Never Knew," and her brother 'Doochie', one of the Katrina survivors profiled in the book, were welcomed by Stephanie Dragoon and Rebecca Cooper when they stopped in to visit the Lower 9th Ward Living Museum

Stanley and Betty Stewart, two of the Hurricane Katrina survivors featured in the award-winning book, "UNTOLD: The New Orleans 9th Ward You Never Knew," appeared in the National Geographic film, World's Worst Natural Disasters. The Stewarts are among the survivors featured from the most important natural disasters of all time.
