Alexis D. Johnson is a fantasy author with a fondness for mythical creatures, all things steampunk, and the supernatural. Her aim is to inspire others to see life through a different lens via the art of storytelling.

As a child, she took up the pen as her weapon of choice when challenged to a creative “duel”, and has never looked back.

Hailing from New Mexico, she went on to spend a piece of her childhood in The Lord of the Rings territory (New Zealand), and now lives in Texas with her husband, whom she met while sword fighting in a park. When she isn’t befriending dragons on the page whilst listening to bagpipes, she and her husband restore old homes back to their former glory.
