Debut children’s book author Angeli Elliott wanted to make Christmas a magical time for her children but found existing books too focused on making Santa’s list. Instead, she invented a wondrous world of elves who left her children daily whimsical rhyming notes during the month December.

From her own family’s tradition comes Elliott’s Festival of the Elves – The Magic Around You, a beautifully illustrated story of elf siblings Holly and Noel and their quest to bring a secret note tradition to human families. The first book in the trilogy is written under the pen name of Holly Figgyworth, who recounts the adventure focused on the magical powers of giving, gratitude and family.

Angeli is a native New Yorker who now lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. When she is not writing about the elaborate and complex world of Christmas elves, Angeli works as an HR IT strategy consultant in New York City.
