Annie Daylon was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She studied music at Mount Allison University and education at both the University of Manitoba and University of British Columbia (M.Ed.). After thirty years teaching, she delved into her passion for writing.

Annie Daylon was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She studied music at Mount Allison University and education at both the University of Manitoba and University of British Columbia (M.Ed.). After thirty years teaching, she delved into her passion for writing.
Annie’s first novel is MAGGIE OF THE MARSHES and is set in 1960's Newfoundland. Her second novel, CASTLES IN THE SAND, set in 2010 in Vancouver, is the mainstream genre winner of the 2012 Houston Writers Guild novel contest and a recipient of the B.R.A.G. Medallion for excellence in indie writing.
In November, 2015 Annie will launch her third novel titled OF SEA AND SEED, The Kerrigan Chronicles Book I, set in 1920s Newfoundland.
In addition to novels, Annie writes short stories, many of which have appeared in literary magazines and anthologies in Canada and the United States.
Also to be launched in November/ 2015, a new genre, a children's picture book: THE MANY-COLORED INVISIBLE HATS OF BRENDA-LOUISE with art by Loreena M. Lee.
Annie lives in the British Columbia Fraser Valley, with her husband, David, and their dog, CoCo.
