Avery B. Goodman was born and raised in the New York area and is now a resident of Florida. He is a licensed attorney who has practiced in various areas of law, at different points in his career, concentrating in cases involving financial institutions and securities law related matters. He holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University, where he concentrated on history and economics, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles Law School. He is licensed to practice law in several jurisdictions, and serves on the roster of neutral arbitrators of the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). His career has consisted not only of prosecuting cases on behalf of clients, but also in sitting in judgment on the cases involving others, and making important decisions on intra-industry and customer disputes. Careful investigation over many years led him to become privy to a set of frighteningly real facts that inspired the novel, "BANK", which is set for official release on April 16, 2016.
