Christine was born in New York and after college relocated to California to teach junior high school. She holds a master's degree in Curriculum Design from California State University, East Bay. She returned to school when her last child left for college and received a certificate in Technical and Professional Writing from San Francisco State University.
Having worked since she was 22 years old, Christine Sparacino retired from a varied career as a teacher, corporate trainer and grant writer. She considers writing and publishing “pure pleasure.” Christine calls her retirement the start of a winning trifecta, pursuing three perfect pastimes: creating new friendships, learning new things, and writing about the journey.
Christine writes from her home in Northern California, which she shares with her husband. They have two grown sons, and for years, the only TV channels watched had either a baseball, basketball, or football game in progress. Having little choice, she became a rabid Pac 12 football fan.
